SHOOTOUT CHECK PRESENTED TO A SMALL CBFA VOLUNTEER GROUP JANUARY 15, 2026

The Shootout Board found out they could not make visits to 42 charities in 30 days quickly after announcing they were coming in December. They changed to having a small representation of charity volunteers come to the Shootout office in Osage Beach to receive their checks.

So here is our small Coffman Bend group accepting the $75,483.46 check.

We know there were lots more of you who volunteered part of the 2900+ hours this past year & wish you ALL could have attended. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS OUR BIGGEST CHECK YET.

I heard several times we will never make a bigger check – we did and it’s THANKS to Margie Frazier who got this going years ago and was working hard even while she was hospitalized earlier this year, and after she joined angels in heaven, the 4 ladies who picked up her energy and devotion and the Coffman Bend Community to keep it going. Thank YOU Nancy Colley, Nancy Croft, Nancy MacDougal, and Melanie Skinner.

Check out our 2025 SHOOTOUT Check

Wish ALL of our CBFA Shootout Volunteers could have come to the the 2025 Shootout Check Presentation. The Shootout Board wanted to visit all 42 charities who participated last year and once they started in November they quickly found out they couldn’t get all scheduled within two months so. Alternate plan, hand the checks to a defined number at the Shootout Shootout Office in Osage Beach.

The small group that came to check presentation is but a small number of our Volunteers who gave their time and energy for over 2900+ Volunteer hours last years. Just as Margie Frazier always answered the call to help with the Shootout the previous years, four ladies met the call and made for sure we were there for whatever was needed. Ron Frazier said a special Thank YOU to the 3 ladies that picked up where Margie left off this year – Nancy Colley, Nancy Croft, MacDougal, and Melanie Skinner. They will be honored on a plaque to be placed at our Coffman Bend Fire Station. Thank YOU ladies for your organization and devotion to keeping Margie’s connection with the Shootout going. Took 4 ladies to replace one Margie but it happened. Smoothly, no hiccups, nothing dropped. What a wonderful CBFA effort for the $75,483.46 our BIGGEST check yet!
